Fireside Chat, an Indivisible Group, is a volunteer-led, non-profit community organization in Rehoboth, Massachusetts.
Mission Statement
Our mission is to support and defend the framework of democracy set forth by our Founding Fathers for a just and honorable society. We remain steadfast in our commitment to advocate for their vision for the benefit of all Americans.
Goals
- To provide a space to talk about political issues and support each other.
- To share information about things we can do to elect progressive leaders, and rebuild our democracy.
- To organize actions we can take together on the local, state, and national level.
Indivisible’s Commitment to Nonviolence
Indivisible is committed to nonviolence as a guiding principle in everything we do, and we reject all forms of political violence and intimidation, no matter the source or the target.
Movements that create lasting change do so by building trust, forging solidarity, and demonstrating discipline, even in the face of threats or attacks.
We are firmly committed to nonviolence. That’s not just a moral stance – it’s how we build durable power. Our resistance is principled, strategic, and grounded in the knowledge that peaceful movements win.

“Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.”
Benjamin Franklin
